The island tour complete & exotic
The whole of Reunion Island in one day: the North, the East coast and its waterfalls, the wild South and its lava flows, then the West coast and its lagoon. Four regions, four moods.
The whole island in a day
The full 360° tour of Reunion Island: over 200 km of coastline and four regions with completely different atmospheres. You go from the northern towns to the lush waterfalls of the East, from the lava flows of the wild South to the turquoise lagoon of the West. A full, exotic day, punctuated by photo stops and your driver-guide’s stories.
Your island tour
Saint-Denis & the Barachois
Early start recommended (not mandatory). First stop on the Barachois seafront, with its cannons facing the ocean, before heading East.

Waterfalls & greenery
The wettest, greenest region: the Niagara waterfall, the baroque church of Sainte-Anne, and the Bassin Bleu tucked into the vegetation.

Notre-Dame des Laves & the Anse des Cascades
The church spared when the 1977 lava flow parted around it without engulfing it, then the Anse des Cascades, where fresh water tumbles into the ocean amid the palm trees.

Route des Laves, Cap Méchant, Grande Anse
Crossing the recent lava flows of the Grand Brûlé, the jagged black cliffs of Cap Méchant, then the paradise beach of Grande Anse and its protected pool.

Lunch optional
At a restaurant, or with a stop at a good bakery or snack bar we know, to put together your picnic. Lunch is not included in the price (see the options below).

Étang-Salé & the West coast
The volcanic black sand beach of Étang-Salé, then back up the sunny West coast and Cap La Houssaye, with its dry landscapes and ocean viewpoints.

Return to your accommodation
Completing the loop and returning in the late afternoon, after a day spent going right around the island.

The direction adapts
Depending on the day’s traffic and weather, we circle the island one way or the other to make the most of each stop and avoid jams. The order of stops may vary — what matters is seeing as much as possible in the best conditions.
On a cruise or a port call?
We adjust the itinerary and stops according to your latest return time to the ship and the day’s traffic: depending on conditions, some places may be dropped or replaced so you can re-board on time. On this tour, we recommend a picnic rather than a restaurant — you save time and see as many sites as possible.
Two options, your choice
At a restaurant
Creole cuisine or a seaside table, depending on where we are at midday. We recommend the best spots.
As a picnic
A stop at a bakery or snack bar we know — known for their good products — to buy lunch. Flexible, friendly and local.
Lunch is not included in the tour price — you choose the option on the day.
